Seen on Scene: At the Fall Family Festival and Custom Car and Rod Show

Keri Shuman brought her 5-year-old son, Jack, left, and daughter Meghan, 4, to the Fall Family Festival in downtown Boulder City on Saturday. The children were especially excited about the classic car show and the raffle prizes.

Annie Rouse and her son Benjamin drove to Boulder City from Henderson on Saturday hoping to see an old Thunderbird, her favorite, at the Fall Classic Custom and Rod Car Show and enjoyed face painting and lunch at the Fall Family Festival presented by Pride in Purity.

Cindy, Burton and Ely Kelly, from left, moved to Boulder City just a few months ago and said they absolutely love it. They said they were thrilled with the Fall Family Festival on Saturday as well as the car show and the return of frequent events in the parks downtown.

Pride in Purity hosted the Fall Family Festival on Saturday at Bicentennial Park and two of the members, Erica Kent, left, and Juliana King, helped serve lunch to many of the attendees.

The Fall Classic Custom and Rod Car Show was held in conjunction with the Fall Family Festival on Saturday as the two events filled Wilbur Square and Bicentennial parks with attendees from Boulder City and the Las Vegas Valley.
