Athlete of the Week

Laura Hubel/Boulder City Review

Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honor goes to freshman Preston Jorgensen, who plays middle blocker on the school’s new boys volleyball team. Coach Josh Fisher said Jorgensen has excelled at learning the sport and was instrumental in the team’s 4-2 performance at a tournament at Las Vegas High School on March 18. He also plays tennis and is the son of Mark and Sherri Jorgensen.
