Hours of operation: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday at 813 Arizona St., 702-293-3320. Visit the center’s website at www.seniorcenterbouldercity.org.

Free computers/Internet to members: 8-3 p.m.

Morning coffee, snacks, newspapers: 8-10 a.m.

Library/gift shop: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Lunch hour: 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Suggested donation $2 (60 and older), $3 fee (59 or younger). Meals-on-Wheels are delivered Monday through Friday to the homebound.* Meal passes are available for your convenience at the receptionist’s desk.

Monday: Ham steak, sweet potatoes, vegetables, salad, fruit

City Celebrates First Responders
Photos courtesy City of Boulder City Last week, the city held its annual awards night in which police officers and firefighters are recognized with awards for their accomplishments over the prior year. Awards included those for a trio of lifesaving awards for members of BCFD as well as commendations and the chief’s award and firefighter of the year, which went to Jason Dardano. For the BCPD, awards included letters of commendation, meritorious service awards and volunteer of the year awards.
