The Boulder City Fire Department has 18 full-time firefighters and a dozen part-time employees called reserves.
It may be a bit early, but I’d like to mention a couple of things coming up.

In 1950, several adults suffering from neuromuscular diseases partnered up with parents of children also suffering from neuromuscular diseases to create the Muscular Dystrophy Association. For more than 60 years the Muscular Dystrophy Association, commonly known as MDA, has been providing research and support to millions of Americans.
Holy cow! Did you see that? Where are the cops?

Locks come in many different sizes and types. I’m not talking about a waltz dance step. In the Panama Canal, boats are navigated through water locks. Missiles use a lock to a strike fixed targets. All of these examples serve as lock variations. I hear you; what in the heck do these things have to do with Boulder City? Now that I have your attention, walk with me; I’ll explain.

Muy caliente! Is there a relationship between increasing temperature and crime? A study conducted in Dallas, Texas, by the Environmental Protection Agency and Emory School of Medicine finds there appears to be somewhat of a correlation.

The name of an occupation truly provides a minimalist measurement for that vocation. The title of police officer most likely offers the public a small fishbowl perspective of our profession. Although cop shows and Hollywood deliver an embellished surreal observation of what we do, it doesn’t even truly begin to reveal the gravity of the collateral responsibilities we undertake.
