City to join statewide 150th birthday singalong

Boulder City residents are invited to join today’s singalong to help mark the state’s sesquicentennial. At 10 a.m. there will be a statewide singalong of “Home Means Nevada.”

In Boulder City, a group will gather on the front steps of City Hall, 401 California Ave.

Gov. Brian Sandoval and the Nevada 150 Commission have asked Nevadans statewide to demonstrate their state pride by joining the singalong in an attempt to set the record for the most people in an American state to sing their state song at the same time.

Lyrics are available at www.Nevada150.org.
