Saturday car, bike show to benefit first responders

The inaugural First Responders Bash car and bike show will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Chilly Jilly’z, 1680 Nevada Highway. The show, a benefit for American service heroes, is being presented by the Nevada chapter of 2 Million Bikers to DC.

Besides the car and bike show, the event will include live music and a poker run, which starts at 9 a.m. Reign 4 Ever; Jimmie Ray’s Black Train, a tribute to Johnny Cash; and the Sagebrush Stringband are scheduled to perform.

The poker run will begin at Red Rock Harley-Davidson, 2260 S. Rainbow Blvd., and include stops at Leather Headquarters, RideNow Powersports and Henderson Harley-Davidson before arriving at the final destination, the benefit show in Boulder City.

Helping present the show and poker run are Chilly Jilly’z, Nevada Veterans Foundation, Fisher House, Red Rock and Henderson Harley-Davidson, Detail Kings, RideNow Powersports, Leather Headquarters and the Las Vegas tea party.
