This week I will briefly touch on the emergency 911 system and what we will need from you in the event you need to dial it or its partner number, 311. Remember, 911 is limited to life-threatening emergencies; 311 is for those needs that are urgent but not emergent.

Diabetes is a chronic (long-lasting) disease that affects how your body turns food into energy. Most of the food you eat is broken down into sugar (also called glucose) and released into your bloodstream.
The Boulder City Honor Guard is part of the Southern Nevada regional multiagency honor guard, which means all Southern Nevada law enforcement agencies act as one unit when together. Some of the duties that could be requested of this group include rifle team (21 gun salute), colors (U.S. and Nevada flag with two rifles on either side), flag detail (all agency department flags), formations or to line procession routes. They participate in wreath detail, casket detail, parades or formal events.

All officers in the State of Nevada can and will enforce any and all laws as needed. However, special details often are formed to focus on specific areas of concern.
Las Vegas has a new resource available to youth ages 17 and under called The Harbor.
