Police received a report of a man taping another man to a tree. Police determined it was part of a scavenger hunt.

Police received a report that someone put ammunition and a knife in the book drop box at Boulder City Library.

Police arrested someone who was reported loitering at a local business and had a warrant from Las Vegas.

Police received a report of a deceased cat.

Jan. 15, 3:09 p.m.

Police received a report of two males and one female standing on a corner yelling at each other. Police called an ambulance for one of the males, who was bleeding from his nose and eye area.

Jan. 15, 9:55 p.m.

A man reported to police that his girlfriend was threatening to commit suicide by overdosing on sleeping pills. The woman, who had taken two sleeping pills and had been drinking, was transported to Boulder City Hospital.

Police received a report of an elderly couple being contacted by a possibly fraudulent cable provider.

A woman contacted police to report an elderly male who yells at her when she walks her dog past his Utah Street residence.

A man contacted police because his 11-year-old foster daughter was not listening to him and threatening to run away.

Police received a report of a 14-year-old male attempting to hang himself. The child was transported for medical care by his foster parent.

A person pulled over for appearing to be talking on the phone while driving was determined to be eating candy.

Police received a report of an iPad being stolen from a vehicle.

A man was cited for camping in the desert within city limits, and given a courtesy ride to a bus stop.

A woman reported that someone burglarized her home, stealing a 50-inch television. Police determined the thief pried open a window to enter the house.

Police issued a citation for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia to a driver, who was taken into custody because of a Las Vegas warrant.

Jan. 17, 8:35 p.m.

A woman called police to report finding marijuana in her 14-year-old grandson’s backpack. At the request of the grandmother, police warned the juvenile.
