Nov. 15, 6:37 a.m.

A caller reported that there were two men with bicycles and “ragged clothes” in the area and the caller believed the two were staying on a neighbor’s property; the caller also believed the neighbor was allowing homeless people to camp in his yard.

Nov. 15, 1:47 p.m.

Officers received reports of two men standing outside a Boulder City store trying to sell a boom box and a variety of other items. The two men left, despite having a Las Vegas license, after being informed they needed a Boulder City business license.

Nov. 16, 2:11 p.m.

A man called to complain that his brother had falsely given the caller’s identification to a police officer, who issued a citation under his name instead of his brother’s.

Nov. 16, 9:41 p.m.

A woman working for a nursing home called officers after a patient died and the patient’s grandson had threatened her when she called to notify the family. The patient’s grandson reportedly told the woman she was “lucky he wasn’t there or he’d knock her teeth out.” Upon the family’s arrival, the grandson apologized for the threat.

Nov. 17, 8:49 a.m.

Officers responded to complaints of a man near the street throwing water at cars. The man claimed he was giving away water “for tips,” but denied throwing things at anyone.

Nov. 19, 3:45 p.m.

A man called officers after seeing a group of seven juveniles carrying a fire extinguisher and rolling a tire toward the water tower at the top of Avenue L. Upon arrival, officers found a tire near the side of the cliff, but there was no sign of any fire, fire extinguisher or people.

Nov. 20, 12:58 p.m.

A man called to complain that while hiking on the Red Mountain trail when he came across a person walking a dog without a leash and the dog bit him on the hand.

Nov. 20, 10:32 p.m.

A caller complained that 15 people had gathered at a home for a baby shower and had remained into the night, playing beer pong, with people inside as well as outside and a baby crying indoors.

Nov. 21, 9:55 a.m.

A caller complained that a woman had come to the door of the home and requested assistance and a cab to Henderson. The woman then asked if she could plug her phone into an outlet inside the house, but when they brought a outlet outside, she ended up walking off, and not in the direction of Henderson.

Nov. 22, 11:02 a.m.

A man called officers concerned about his brother. They had been riding bicycles on the River Mountains Loop Trail when his brother fell about a mile behind and never caught up. After searching the area, the man’s brother was eventually found at home.
