Short power outage set for Tuesday morning

Boulder City’s public works department has scheduled a short power outage for early Tuesday morning.

The outage is scheduled between 4 and 6 a.m. and should only last 30 minutes or less, according to information released by the city.

The power outage is planned to return operations to the electrical substation between Buchanan Boulevard and Royal Birkdale Drive. Maintenance repairs to the substation were recently completed.

It should affect a small area of town in the vicinity of the substation and was scheduled to minimize distruptions to area residents.
