The Valley of Fire Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution conducted their 22nd annual flag retirement ceremony earlier this month at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Ceremony. With the assistance of local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, the event demonstrated the proper way to fold and dispose of unserviceable United States flags.
