Findlay Toyota in Henderson presented a 2014 Toyota Sienna to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children as part of the Toyota 2013 100 Cars for Good program. Cars were given to 100 nonprofit groups over the course of 50 days. Winners were selected daily through public voting on Facebook. On hand for the St. Jude’s presentation Feb. 14 were, from left, Robert Weitekamp, Toyota Motor district manager of the Denver region; St Jude’s Ranch for Children CEO Christine Spadafor; Ronique, 10; Tatum, 3; Zoey, 3; Rich Abajian, Findlay Toyota general manager; Stephanie Bernas, Findlay Toyota marketing director; and Geoff Schick, Toyota Motor vehicle sales manager of the Denver region.

Saturday night, a large crowd donned their best 1980s attire, which included an abundance of neon-colored clothing as part of the aptly-named Neon Nights. The block party was hosted by Main Street Boulder City and served as a make-up event for their planned New Year’s Eve celebration, which was canceled due to impending weather. Attendees filled the restautants and bars along the steet, while listening to 80s music played by DJ Mike Pacini.

Photos by Ron Eland/Boulder City Review Over the weekend, the Rotary Club of Boulder City held its annual Best Dam Barbecue, which drew thousands of people. The event featured both a car and motorcycle show, music from Mike Pacini, dozens of vendors, and the star of the show, barbecue. In addition, vehicles of all ages filled the park both days of the festival.
