Giving thanks

Thanksgiving has arrived and across the country families will sit down to enjoy the company of loved ones, as well as heaping portions of turkey, stuffing and potatoes.

As the holiday season is ushered in, and temperatures have finally dropped enough to justify bringing out the winter wardrobe, many people will be watching a full day of football or preparing for the busiest shopping weekend of the year. However, Thanksgiving is also a time to reflect on the good things in life and how lucky many of us are to be able to enjoy such holiday feasts with family and friends.

In that spirit, we hit the streets and spoke to people around Boulder City to find out what they are thankful for this autumn.
