Bowling center to aid teacher with grant program

Boulder Bowl of Boulder City will be playing a key role in the national Bowling To Teachers program, which will provide $100,000 in grants to kindergarten through eighth-grade teachers this spring to help them offset some of their out-of-pocket expenses for classroom supplies.

The program will award 400 $250 grants between now and July 2017.

Bowling To Teachers is sponsored by the national Kids Bowl Free summer bowling program that has provided free bowling for more than 5 million children during the past five summers. Boulder Bowl, an official Kids Bowl Free center, will be offering free bowling for children from May 1 through Aug. 31.

For more information about either program, visit www.Kidsbowlfree.com or contact Boulder Bowl at 702-293-2368.
