Athlete of the Week
Laura Hubel/Boulder City Review
Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is senior Conner Armstrong, a member of the boys varsity bowling team. During the team’s last meet of the year, against Del Sol on Jan. 25, he bowled the highest series of his life and helped the Eagles earn the top seed for the region going into the state competition. Last year, he was the varsity’s team alternate and played a part in helping the team secure it’s second state championship. The son of Margaret and Gregory Armstrong, he is a three-year letterman for bowling. Additionally, he plays football and is part of the school’s track team.
