Mary Beth Clift celebrated her 40th anniversary with the Boulder Dam Credit Union on Tuesday with a celebration at Southwest Diner attended by family, friends and co-workers. Clift, teller supervisor, said her time at the credit union has been like being Jimmy Stewart's character in "It's a Wonderful Life." Saturday, volunteers got a 7 a.m. start for Shine Boulder City, hosted by Main Street Boulder City. The clean-up was an initiative through American 250 Nevada. Volunteers helped clean statues, benches and some business exteriors within the Historic Downtown District.
