Water Main Break

Hali Bernstein Saylor/Boulder City Review

A main water line break forced the closure of Juniper Way just south of Nevada Highway early Wednesday morning. Several businesses, including Jack in the Box and Auto Specialists, were without water until the line could be fixed. Here, Steve Priscu from the city’s public works department, jackhammers the asphalt to find the leak. According to Gary Poindexter, public works superintendent, once the leak is located and repaired a temporary patch will be put on the street. Permanent repairs will be made in the near future.
