Truck Trashes Awning

A trash truck crashed into the canopy over the gas pumps at Boulder Stop on Ville Drive Monday morning, destroying several light fixtures. The truck was stuck there for several hours because of mechanical failures. Employee Scott Macrina said the driver didn't realize he had hit the top until another customer stopped him. This is the second time in less than a year that the driver of a tall truck has damaged the structure, said owner Zee Yousis.
