A man reported to police a bag being stolen from the trunk of his car containing a computer monitor and three hard drives. He told police the trunk and garage door were open when the theft occurred, and he was inside.

The caller said he tried talking to the dogs but they would not stop barking.

Police agreed to contact the dogs’ owner.

The caller later said there was an empty kennel and an iron pole in the area.
