A sign at the old Boulder City hospital with historical significance to the Diocese of the West, Orthodox Church in America, was returned to the denomination by the property’s owners, Randy Schams and Jackie Schams, second and fourth from left. Boulder City Police Officer Chris Slack, far left, helped facilitate the transfer to Bishop Nikolai of All Saints Russian Orthodox Church in Las Vegas, who was instrumental in the church’s purchase of the property in 2000.
