Shane Patton is one of two Boulder City Purple Heart recipients who Nevada Assemblyman Glen Leavitt honored when voting to pass Senate Bill 331 on May 7. The bill will designate Interstate 11 as the Purple Heart Highway. Patton was killed in Operation Red Wings in 2005.
