PREPRESS TECHNICIAN   The Las Vegas Review Journal is looking for an individual with newspaper or commercial print experience.   While our primary responsibility is to print the daily newspaper, our commercial work is growing at a rapid rate and becoming a critical part of the operation.   Requirements/Skills • Must have good customer service skills • Solid understanding of print reproduction and print quality • Knowledge of prepress operations • Good eyesight and attention to detail • Able to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently • Able to organize time and multiple projects with little supervision • Able to work in a fast paced, TEAM environment • Able to communicate effectively at all levels, both written and verbal • Knowledge of newspaper/page layout requirements • Knowledge of commercial press/page layout, impositions and signature requirements • Possess computer skills as well as some knowledge of Excel and Adobe InDesign • Must be able to work night shift, including some weekends and holidays. • Must pass, in all relevant ways, a pre-employment drug screen and background check.   We offer a generous benefit package, including 401(k) with company match   Forward resume to: hrdept@reviewjournal.com with Prepress Technician in the subject line.   The Las Vegas Review-Journal is an equal opportunity employer.

Strategic Account Executive The Las Vegas Review-Journal is seeking an experienced, detail oriented Strategic Account Executive.   This position is responsible for: • Servicing existing large-scale local and regional multimedia advertising and sponsorship account revenue • Identifying and closing opportunities to add advertising solutions to grow and maximize investment from existing clients • Targeting and closing new, large-scale local and regional multimedia advertising and sponsorship clients. • Building and sustaining strong client relationships • Ensuring accurate, timely internal and external communication • Ensuring exceptional client satisfaction • Meeting/exceeding assigned sales revenue goals   Qualifications include: • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, similar field, or equivalent work experience. • 3+ years of experience in advertising sales working predominantly with large-scale advertisers (investment greater than $100,000 annually) and a proven track record of goal attainment. • Digital marketing and/or advertising experience required. • Experience using sales CRM required. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. • Experience working with large-scale national and/or regional advertising accounts preferred. • Knowledge of competitive media and the Las Vegas market is a plus.
