Martha King Elementary School held its annual holiday family night at the Boulder Creek Golf Course Friday night with the theme of “Polar Express.” A record number of families packed the event, which featured the school’s choir, DJ Mike Pacini, pizza from Vinny’s and a visit from Santa Claus. The Boulder Dam Federal Credit Union donates funding to the cover the cost of the facility rental.

Pastor Deborah Downs said the Stations of the Cross “are a contemplative practice of walking the way of suffering with Jesus. Have you ever called for emergency services in Boulder City? Did you know that on medical calls, the fire department typically sends two or more first responders? The American Heart Association recommends one responder manages the patient’s airway; another monitors cardiac activity; another is responsible for administering medication; and two provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or lift assists as needed.
