Youth soccer program planned for fall
Boulder City Parks and Recreation Department is offering a youth soccer league this fall for players in kindergarten through eighth grade. The program emphasizes skills and learning in a fun, enthusiastic atmosphere, according to Steve Corry, recreation coordinator.
Players must attend a clinic prior to playing on a team. Clinics will be held at 6 and 7 p.m. Aug. 25 and 26, and Sept. 1 and 2 at Pratte Field at Veterans’ Memorial Park.
The fee for soccer is $39, which includes all practices, games and uniform.
Coaches are still needed for some age groups.
