Local pickleball player competes in Henderson Senior Games
Rick Johnson of Boulder City was among a half dozen Boulder City pickleball player who competed in the Henderson Senior Games earlier this month. He was the only local player to win any medals in the event.
Johnson was joined by Pete Bresciani of Henderson to win the gold medal in the men’s under 65, 4.0 doubles event. He played with Cat Grant of Henderson to capture the silver in the 50-plus, 4.0 mixed doubles competition.
About 200 people competed in the tournament.
