The Boulder City Parks and Recreation’s Department’s summer menâs softball league is headed to the end of the season with a showdown on the horizon with three teams bunched at the top of the leaderboard.
First place teams Time to Mash, Pit Stop and Duettoâs games the final two weeks of the season will make all the difference in seeding for a post-season tourney that begins July 30.
League play continues tonight at Hemenway Park.
The coed league plays its final games Sunday at Hemenway Park, with a tourney beginning July 26. The undefeated Pitches Be Crazy continues to lead the league with its 12-0 record.
At the end of week eight, standings are:
Men’s league: Time To Mash, 14-2; Pit Stop, 12-4; Duetto, 12-4; Papillon, 5-11; Club Fitness, 3-13; and Credit Union, 2-14.
Coed league: Pitches Be Crazy, 12-0; Jackâs Place, 9-3; Hammerâs Grill, 7-5; Hoover Dam Store, 6-6; Club Fitness, 4-8; Credit Union, 4-8; Banginâ Pitches, 4-8; and Serenity Salon, 2-10.
