The Boulder City Parks and Recreation Men’s and Coed Softball leagues continued play during the week with a reversal of fortunes and standings.The men’s league played Sept. 24, with the previously undefeated Time to Mash tumbling from perfection at the hands of a Papillon, as they split a double header. Papillon took a big victory in the night, ending the game early with a 10-run victory, 16-6.
Pit Stop also climbed back up the leader board, thrashing Duetto in two games, 15-9 and 20-8. Boulder Tree climbed into the win column while Credit Union is sneaking up in the standings with a 4-2 record.
Action resumes tonight at Hemenway Park.
In coed action, Hammer’s Bar and Grill and Jack’s Place are quickly becoming the hot teams as both have surged to 3-1 records, with Total Quality Pallets pulling even, also at 3-1. Hammer’s took two games from Serenity Salon while Jack’s Place swept newcomer Duetto Ducks, 8-4 and 12-2.
Action resumes Sunday at Hemenway Park.
