Final youth soccer clinics scheduled
Boulder City Parks and Recreation Department is offering its final clinics for youth soccer from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Pratte Field at Veterans’ Memorial Park, 1650 Buchanan Blvd.
Separate leagues are available for players in kindergarten, 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade and 6th-8th grade.
All players must attend a clinic and register at the Parks and Recreation department by Sept. 3.
The soccer program teaches fundamental sports skills in a fun, positive atmosphere that emphasizes skill building, coordination and socialization, said Steve Corry, recreation coordinator.
Nearly 300 players participated in last year’s program.
