Registration begins for youth flag football

Youth flag football has returned to Boulder City with programs for third- and fourth-graders and fifth- and sixth-graders starting Oct. 20 and 21.

Clinics for young players will be held at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m., respectively, for the two age groups at Pratte Field in Veterans’ Memorial Park, 1501 Buchanan Blvd.

The league teaches sport skills while helping youths build confidence and success in a team environment, said Steve Corry, recreation coordinator for the parks and recreation department.

Registration for the program is now open. There is a $39 fee per participant.
