Basketball tournament play begins
The Boulder City Parks and Recreation Department’s men’s recreational basketball league finished its final regular-season games this past week with Boulder Chiropractic in first place, the Credit Union in second place and Flight S2S in third.
Tournament play began Tuesday with Woodbury Law playing the Ragin’ Roadrunners at 7 p.m. and Flight S2S playing Boulder City Family Mortuary at 8 p.m.
The week’s highlight was S2S scoring 103 points in one game, recreation coordinator Kelly Lehr said. High scorers were Jay Brown averaging 29 points a game, Ryan Emling averaging 19 points a game and Rob Sandoval averaging 15.5 points a game.
Team Standings: Boulder Chiropractic, 9-1; The Credit Union, 7-3; Flight S2S, 7-3; Woodbury Law, 3-7; Boulder City Family Mortuary, 3-7; Ragin’ Roadrunners, 1-9.
