Time to Mash, Pit Stop tighten holds on top two softball spots
Boulder City Parks and Recreation softball leagues are heading down the stretch, with coed teams beginning tournament play this week. In men’s play, Time to Mash and Pit Stop etched claims on the top two spots with doubleheader sweeps while Duetto edged back up the standings with two victories over the Credit Union, 25-17 and 13-12. With four weeks of regular season play action resumes tonight at Hemenway.
In coed action, Jack’s Place claimed the regular season title and first seed in the upcoming tournament with a 9-1 record heading after a sweep of Serenity 14-1 and 17-8. Hammer’s Bar and Grill finalized the second seed with a two game sweep over the Credit Union edging out the Duetto Ducks based on head to head season play. The tourney action begins this Sunday, 10/25.

Flag football sign-ups
Flag Football sign-ups for youth in 3rd-6th grades ends today at the Recreation Center offices on Arizona Street. The cost of the program is $39 and includes practices, games and a team uniform. For more information, contact Boulder City Parks and Recreation at 702-293-9256.
Tourney time for women’s volleyball
Boulder City Parks and Recreation Women’s Volleyball is coming up on its season-ending tournament October 26th at 6:30 pm at the Recreation Center on Arizona Street.
