Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is senior Jeanne Carmel, daughter of Scott Carmel. She excels as a sweeper/goalkeeper on the Lady Eagles soccer team and also serves as a leader and role model for younger players, according to coach Duncan Stark. She also plays flag football.
