Laura Hubel/Boulder City Review
Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is senior Alyssa Ybarra, who plays center field for the Lady Eagles softball team. She is the team’s leadoff hitter and had seven hits in the past two games. Ybarra has a .472 batting average and is a key player for the team. She is the daughter of Thomas and Connie Ybarra.
