Laura Hubel/Boulder City Review
Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is freshman Marleena Mills, who plays softball as a catcher and at third base for the Lady Eagles. Coaches Angelica Moorhead, Kristy Cyr and Paxton Fleming said Mills has come out strong, playing good defense and carrying a .426 batting average. Her fielding percentage is .947 and her on-base percentage is .500. The team is currently 2-0 in league play. The coaches commended Mills on her work ethic and positivity. Mills also played volleyball this year. She is the daughter of Azure Quinlan and Sean Mills.
