Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honoree is sophomore Dawsen Goodfellow, a distance runner on the Eagles’ track and field team. During Saturday’s Meadows Invitational, Goodfellow set personal records in the 800-meter and 1600-meter runs. Coach Joshua Fisher said Goodfellow’s “dedication and hard work from the off-season is paying dividends.” He also runs cross-country and is a member of the school’s band. He is the son of Mark and Monique Goodfellow.
