Each week the coaches at Boulder City High School nominate an athlete to spotlight for contributions made to his or her team. This week’s honor goes to senior Kyler Atkinson, a four-year member of the varsity golf team. Atkinson led the Eagles to three first-place team finishes, shooting 3-over par 73 to place first at Monday’s Sunrise League match, 76 at Wildhorse to finish first in the first league match of the year on March 15, and 78 to place second at the Needles Invitational on March 14. His the son of Jesse and Heather Atkinson.
