Animal hospital’s care, suggestions appreciated
We want to express our appreciation for the excellent care and suggestions given to us on the care of our beloved pet, Molly, at Boulder City Animal Hospital and from Dr. Tucker Barton.
We adopted our pet cat around 2000 when she was only 5 months old from our animal shelter. She became a wonderful pet and very easy to travel along with us.
Dr. Barton suggested excellent ideas to give aid to our Molly as her health became issues of concern. She was 16 years old.
With his guidance and his wonderful staff of employees for support, we enjoyed our Molly for a few extra years. She left us March 7, 2016.
Thank you to Dr. Barton of Boulder City Animal Hospital and his great staff.

Meeting about asbestos very informative
It was a privilege to attend the asbestos meeting held for our community on March 23 , along with the previous September 1 meeting. We can be grateful that an outstanding team of dedicated UNLV and Montana researchers are going forward in doing everything they can to secure a five-year research grant to determine the effects of natural occurring asbestos in our Boulder City community.
This is a subject where ignorance is surely not bliss for us. Along with Boulder City’s slogan “clean and green,” we might want to add “alert, active and informed.”
To have more of our community, and our Boulder City elected officials, present at the upcoming meetings would be quite the blessing. These get-togethers are not only an opportunity to become more informed but they’re a forum for all of us to participate in and be heard. Shouldn’t this be high on our priority list?
