BC’s nature needs to factor into changes at school
The reason there is resistance to the changes and destruction of the Boulder City High School is that Boulder City has a different social makeup from Las Vegas. The history and the community involvement here is of utmost importance and is, therefore, opposite of Las Vegas’ ideas of destroy, rebuild and change.
Has this worked for Boulder City? This is pretty obvious. Twenty miles separate the two cities but socially (they are) different worlds. I think statistics will show what schools are safer: the old Boulder City High School or any major high school in Las Vegas.
Boulder City is different, therefore these changes must be taken into account.
