Dog walkers should show more respect

I understand people wanting to walk their dogs in the cemetery, although it’s clearly posted “no dogs allowed.” Given that, please have the courtesy to carry a bag with you in the event your dog needs to do more than urinate.

When visiting my husband’s grave last week, I was highly shocked and irritated to find piles of excrement on his grave marker. This is not only disrespectful but rude. If you see your dog getting in that position, at least guide him to the grass, the “outcome” of which still should be picked up. It’s better than (disrespecting) a person’s name.

My husband, Cliff McCay, loved dogs, as do I, but people need to be more considerate in this regard.

If it’s a coyote situation, so be it.
