Police received a call about someone who broke chains off a pole in the downtown area.

A woman told police that a man came to her door and told her he needed to change her water filters. The woman told the man she did not call for service, but he still insisted on coming in anyway. She then told the man to leave, police said.

March 11, 7:14 a.m.

Police received a call about an SUV that was parked in a city employee’s parking spot. The caller said at least one person in the car was sleeping.

A man told police that some of his belongings had been stolen from his motor home.

A caller told police that cars in nearby businesses had their engines “revving” and were “hot rodding” up and down the street.

A woman told police that somebody damaged her car and broke her window.

A woman told police she hit a bicyclist with her car.

Police received a call about a parachute that landed in the power lines.

Nevada Highway Patrol said 10 sports cars were driving erratically on U.S. Highway 93 heading toward Boulder City.

March 14, 9:27 a.m.

A woman said the driver of a yellow truck tried to run her and her 4-month-old child off the road, according to police.

March 15, 5:07 p.m.

A caller told police that the driver of a silver Dodge Charger had been “ripping up and down the road” at a high rate of speed. The driver was squealing tires and slamming on the brakes.
