A California man called police to report being injured at a Burning Man event in Bootleg Canyon, when another man struck him on the buttocks with a paddle.

A woman contacted police to report that her son’s arm was broken during an after-school fight the previous day.

May 29, 9:58 a.m.

Police received a report of a male hitting a female in a car on Nevada Way.

A Boulder City Hospital nurse contacted police to report a man fighting with his wife in the hospital parking lot. The man was initially taken to Boulder City Hospital by ambulance after he was discovered highly intoxicated lying under a tree. He also threw punches at a paramedic.

May 29, 7:36 p.m.

A 9-year-old girl called police to report that her mother was going after her father with a knife, after the father had shoved the mother into the oven. The father left the scene and could not be immediately located by police, and the mother was given medical attention for burns on her hand.

May 30, 9:58 a.m.

A person pulled over for appearing to be on the phone was actually just holding an ear because of an earache.

Police received a report of a man falling out of his electric wheelchair when it went off a curb.

A disoriented and half-naked woman was reported in a parking lot. After it was determined she was diabetic, she was given medical attention.

Police received a report of a man “with extremely large feet” passed out in Bicentennial Park under the gazebo. Police determined he was waiting for the bus, and he got on the bus.

Police received a report of a woman lying in the street on Gingerwood Street. She was talking but not making sense, and was being protected by a dog.

June 2, 8:40 p.m.

Police received a report of a parked car on fire at Bootleg Canyon.

June 3, 8:02 a.m.

Police received a report of a duck with a hook in its bill at Veterans Memorial Park.

Police received a report of a baby rabbit with an injured leg.
