Police contacted the Nevada Department of Transportation about a bridge that was iced over. The transportation department said it would bring a sander to make the bridge safer.

Police responded to the scene of a fire hydrant gushing water on Wyoming Street.

Police said two large dogs were running around town. One of the dogs was a mastiff that was limping toward a convenience store.

Police received a call about a dog that was hit by a car in front of its owner.

A gray dog was chasing sheep by a park, police said.

Police took a call about a vehicle that was backed into at the post office.

A man told police that another man came to his home and claimed he was there to inspect the paint on his house. The man then went into the backyard to look around, but the caller’s wife told him to leave.

Police received a call about a group of motorcyclists driving recklessly as they rode in from Henderson.

A woman told police that her daughter claimed someone kicked in the front door of their home. The woman told police their DirecTV property had been stolen.

Jan. 4, 11:37 a.m.

Police said a man lined his family up in front of a building and yelled at them. They said a woman and two small children were lined up against a wall.
