A call came in about five men praying on rugs. Police told the caller the men were using their religious rights to pray.

A call came in about a strong smell of marijuana possibly coming from an apartment complex on New Mexico Street.

Police received a call about a man wandering around the hospital for more than three hours. The caller told police the man was highly intoxicated and refused to leave. The caller also said the man wanted to fight a nurse.

Police received a call about a dumpster fire behind Toto’s Mexican Restaurant.

Police received several calls about a car driving recklessly near Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino. One of the callers said the car traveled off the road and into the dirt before getting back on the road, according to police. The driver of the car approached two long lines of cars at a high rate of speed and nearly collided with them as they waited for the light, the caller said.
Oct. 16, 1:39 p.m.
A call came in about three men who took three bikes and a scooter from the bike rack at Garrett Junior High School. The caller said she tried to confront one of the men, but the man dropped the bike and fled on foot on Georgia Avenue.
Oct. 16, 8:22 p.m.
A call came in about a man who was passed out at a bus stop. After waking up, the man asked the caller where the bus stop was, police said.
Oct. 17, 2:57 p.m.
A man called police and told them he let a woman move into his house. However, the man said she began to threaten him and he was afraid for his life. The man told police he believed it was a Homeland Security issue because the woman set matches on fire, which could catch his house on fire and affect other residents in the house. The man believed the woman was a foreign national and was in the country illegally, according to police.

A caller wanted to file a report about a car being egged, police said.

A call came in about a truck that ran into a curb and was parked in the middle of oncoming traffic at Avenue B and Fifth Street.
