A man told police he put money in a carwash and nothing happened. Police advised him it was not a police matter, but he told them it was because a business stole his money.

July 31, 11:42 a.m.

A person requested extra patrol between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. because people were “doorbell ditching” a house, police said. The caller said that someone kicked in the door the night before.

July 31, 6:57 p.m.

A woman called police and said two of her tires had been punctured. She thought it might have been her ex-boyfriend, police said.

Aug. 1, 3:04 a.m.

Police received a call about seven people arguing on Date Street. The caller told police the fight started after a few people were kicked out of a house.

Aug. 1, 8:49 a.m.

A woman called police and told them she was pushing her granddaughter in a stroller when several dogs came up to them. The woman said one of the dogs bit her and broke skin.

Aug. 2, 12:45 a.m.

A caller told police that two female employees at the Nevada State Veterans Home were under the influence of alcohol. The caller told police that the two employees tried to leave in a car but then returned to the building.

Aug.2, 1:38 a.m.

Police received a call about four people arguing in the street, one of whom had a Taser.

Aug. 2, 9 a.m.

A man called police and told them that “car show enthusiasts” were trying to block the entrance to Veterans’ Memorial Park.

Aug. 3, 4:25 a.m.

A man told police that he found a tooth from a friend who he thought was murdered. The man, who admitted that he was coming off a multiday binge of using methamphetamine, said he found the tooth behind his sister’s house on Arizona Street.

Aug. 4, 9:57 a.m.

A man called police and told them he was upset because the neighbor below him was smoking marijuana. The man told police he wanted his neighbor arrested.
