Police received a report of someone receiving a call from a telemarketer, and when they asked the telemarketer to take them off their list, the telemarketer said they would send a bomb instead.

 

May 1, 7:55 a.m.

Police received a report of a man attempting to enroll his child in an elementary school, and then making threats that he was going to come back and harm people at the school.

 

May 1, 4:03 p.m.

A woman called police to report that an eight-inch turtle was missing from her pond and “may be on the loose.” She said she would like it returned if someone found it.

 

May 1, 7:09 p.m.

A male was trespassed from a Foothill Drive location for illegally posting handbills that stated another man owed him money. He stated he believed the person who owed him money had been posting sticky notes at pornography shops offering homosexual acts with his phone number on them, because he received two phone calls from men soliciting sex acts.

 

May 2, 11:31 a.m.

Police received a report of a teenager walking with a samurai sword. Police contacted the male, who was home- schooled, and advised him not to walk around with a sword.

 

May 2, 7:37 p.m.

A man contacted police because he believed his 16-year-old daughter was using marijuana. He said his 11-year-old daughter told him she went with the 16-year-old to buy it.

 

May 3, 8:09 a.m.

A Canadian resident called police to report her debit card fraudulently being used at two locations in Boulder City.

 

May 3, 10:38 a.m.

A woman called police to request help changing the batteries in her smoke detector. She said she is elderly and the ceilings are high.

 

May 3, 7:21 p.m.

Police received a report of a people throwing cans of beer out of a vehicle at other vehicles on U.S. Highway 93.

 

May 4, 1:59 a.m.

Police received a report of two intoxicated males urinating in the parking lot at 7-Eleven, 849 Nevada Way. One male was given a courtesy ride home by police.

 

May 4, 9:30 a.m.

A man called police to report that someone left dog poop on his wife’s car.

 

May 4, 10:56 p.m.

A man was arrested at Albertson’s after seen by police running out the door with alcohol he didn’t pay for. A second man involved was arrested at a nearby gas station.

 

May 5, 12:20 p.m.

Police received a report of a man throwing a woman out of a vehicle on Colorado Street.

 

May 6, 7:31 p.m.

A man contacted police to report that his dog was attacked by a pit bull. Police were unable to determine where the offending dog lived.
