A man contacted police after a woman dressed “like a prostitute” came to his door on Marina Drive and asked to use the phone while looking at a vacant house next door. The caller was concerned that the woman was casing the residence. Police made contact with the woman at Albertsons and she claimed she was going to get on a bus and go to Henderson.

Dec. 31, 11:31 p.m.

Police received a report of loud music and the scent of marijuana on Bronco Road.

Jan. 1, 1:12 a.m.

Police received a report of a loud party with fireworks, beer bottles and underage drinking. Police obtained a warrant and detained the partyers.

Jan. 1, 1:42 a.m.

A woman called police to report that her drunk neighbor was bothering her by knocking on her front door and window.

Jan. 1, 1:57 a.m.

A woman contacted police to report that her 18-year-old daughter came home intoxicated, and then left the house barefoot in her pajamas.

Police received a report of a heavy-set male in a hospital gown trying to get a ride from passersby.

A woman called police to report that her son beat her up, claiming he bit and hit her.

A woman called police to report her family had been away since Dec. 26 and, upon returning, found small items missing from her home. She reported no sign of forced entry.

Jan. 2, 5:06 p.m.

Police received a report of a burglary with $2,000 in jewelry stolen. There were signs of forced entry reported, such as a key not working in the front door and damage to the door frame.

Police received a report of a home burglary where a “wooden lock box” was stolen from a night stand.

Police received a report of a woman loitering at a local business and shooting up drugs in the restroom.

Police received a report of someone throwing a golf ball from near Boulder City Golf Course and striking a vehicle.

Police received a report of a vehicle knocking over trash cans on Darlene Way.

Police received a report of a child’s Power Wheels electric police car, valued at $400, stolen from a front yard.

A man reported that someone stole the navigation system, valued at $150, from his car.

Police received a report of a vehicle striking a parked vehicle on Sixth Street.

Police responded to a medical call involving a possible drug overdose of a 22-year-old female.

A man reported to police that a half case of beer and a bottle of champagne were taken from his garage.

Police received a report of an exterior camera, valued at $150, taken from a residence.

Police received a report of a suspicious male, approximately 20 years old, knocking on doors and looking in windows.

Police were contacted by someone who came home and found the front door wide open.

Police were contacted by someone else who came home and found the front door wide open. Nothing was reported stolen.
