July 12, 5:28 a.m.

A man called complaining that someone threw a television in his swimming pool. The man said he found the Mitsubishi large-screen television when he woke up. Police helped the man remove the TV from the pool and put it on the curb for Boulder City Disposal.

July 12, 2:20 p.m.

A landlord called police because a woman would not leave an apartment that was not rented to her. The woman was invited by her boyfriend to live there, but he did not inform the landlord there was more than one person living in the apartment. The woman cleared her possessions from the apartment and left.

July 12, 5:48 p.m.

A family’s home was robbed on Cat’s Eye Drive. The homeowners left around 1 p.m. and when they returned the bedrooms and bathrooms had been ransacked. The family believed their window cleaner left the window open and that is how the robbers entered the house.

July 14, 2:05 p.m.

A man was cited by police for painting over a red no-parking space near his house so that his friends could park there. The man told police the area was always painted gray, but red paint could clearly be seen through the fresh paint job.

July 15, 6:37 p.m.

A cypress tree on the corner of Fifth Street and California Avenue burst into flames. The Boulder City Fire Department put out the fire and cut down the tree.

July 16, 9:14 p.m.

A teen was caught by police igniting lighter fluid in the street. The fire was put out and the teen was told to go back inside his home.

July 18, 6:45 p.m.

A man called police claiming an armed man with his dog off a leash threatened him after he was asked to keep his dog away from the man who called the officers. The man with his dog was cited by the police for threatening the other man.
