Animal control was called regarding a number of bighorn sheep congregating close to the highway, drawing a crowd of people taking pictures.

A man complained to officers in person that a woman who had been visiting him had stolen a number of items from his home, including baseball cards, jewelry and more than $100 in coins.

A man called to report an abandoned car with a note reading, Please, I will be back to pick up my baby, and though he saw pillows and blankets in the car, there was no sign of any baby.
July 6, 8:20 a.m.
Police responded to reports of a man threatening to jump off Hoover Dam, before then picking up rocks and threatening to harm others. Upon the arrival of officers the man said he did not want to kill himself, but only to quit his job.
July 7, 12:27 p.m.
Police received reports of a woman falling off an escalator at the Hoover Dam visitors center; upon the arrival of medical assistance the woman was conscious and seemed alert.
July 7, 2:14 p.m.
An officer was flagged down by a trio of juveniles who were asking for a ride to Railroad Pass to catch up with their bus.
July 7, 4:17 a.m.
A woman called to complain that a man in a suspicious vehicle was driving around her neighborhood, and she followed him up and down street after street. Upon arriving, officers determined the man was delivering newspapers.
July 8, 9:48 a.m.
A man called to report that his car had been egged and told officers he suspected it was a woman who had been at his house when he had been arrested previously.
July 8, 10:33 a.m.
A man reported to animal control that his dog had been bitten by a rattlesnake, that he needed help and that he had the snake and the dog in his car as he was driving to the veterinarian.
July 9, 8:59 p.m.
A woman called to complain that her husband had been drinking and left the house with their dog while threatening to cut off his ankle bracelet. After receiving multiple follow-up calls from the woman, who was then cursing and acting erratic, police drove to the scene where they found the house smoking with flames creeping out the door. Officers allowed the husband to retrieve a few items from the house and detained the woman on suspicion of arson.
July 10, 8:42 p.m.
A woman called to report to officers that she had been the victim of a fraudulent Craigslist transaction, as the prospective purchaser had used a fake PayPal account to attain her laptop. Upon contacting the purchaser, the woman was told that if she sent him $500, she would receive the money she was due. Officer advised the woman to contact the FBI.
