June 28, 7 a.m.

A man’s car was hit while it was parked near his home the night before. When the man went outside he noticed that the driver’s side door was dented. The man called police and filed an insurance claim.

June 28, 7:46 a.m.

A woman called the police station after her car was pelted by eggs. The woman had no idea who hit the car.

June 28, 7:30 p.m.

A woman claimed someone broke into her house and stole multiple items. The police were called by the victim’s landlord. The items were stolen by a woman who returned all of the items and no charges were filed.

June 28, 10:43 p.m.

A man was caught driving 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. The man admitted he was distracted because he was using the GPS on his phone. The man was cited for speeding and told to not use his phone while driving.

June 29, 7:46 a.m.

A woman said she received a call from a person claiming to be from Internal Revenue Service stating she had to give $400 in iTunes gift cards or the organization would garnish her wages. The woman spoke to the person over the phone and no money was exchanged.

June 29, 10 p.m.

A man claimed his neighbor was shooting a BB gun out of his window. The police were unable to locate any suspects and the neighbor accused of shooting the gun denied it.

July 3, 11:15 a.m.

A man said he saw people in a black truck collecting scorpions. The man called the police because he found it weird. The caller was reminded that catching scorpions is not illegal.

July 4, 4:34 p.m.

A man said he was worried about some kids shooting off illegal fireworks in a bucket. The bucket was flying into the air and the man worried someone would get hurt. When police arrived the kids were gone and no citation was filed.

July 4, 8:11 p.m.

People were caught lighting off illegal fireworks near the airport. The fireworks were so close they prevented helicopters from landing.
