A burglar alarm went off at the Boulder City Library. Police investigated the incident and found a woman with a suitcase sleeping in the outdoor amphitheater. The woman was taken into custody and given to the Metropolitan Police Department of Las Vegas.
June 21, 10:02 p.m.
Police officers reported on scene after the Boulder City High School bathroom perimeter door was found open and the alarm had gone off. There was no evidence of forced entry, and police found no damage to the building. No suspects were found.
June 22, 12 a.m.
A man was caught driving 68 mph in a 45-mph zone and was pulled over. The man asked for a warning and the officer considered giving it to him until the officer saw the man had been given a speeding ticket two days earlier. A citation was issued.
June 22, 12:13 a.m.
A woman called police claiming that her boyfriend assaulted her and stole her white Honda Accord. The boyfriend was found an hour later and admitted to police that he hit her and stole her car.
June 23, 1:50 p.m.
A young girl was taken to Boulder City Hospital for heat exposure. The girl was reportedly vomiting uncontrollably.
June 24, 6:26 a.m.
A caller complained that a man was behind the CVS camping. When police arrived they saw a man with no shirt or shoes. The police told him that he was not allowed to camp in the area or litter. The man said he was not camping but waiting on a bus to take him to Las Vegas.
June 25, 2:47 a.m.
A man called the police claiming that his brother had stolen his methadone. The man said his brother had been drinking. When the brother was found, police recovered no methadone. No charges were made.
June 26, 9:23 a.m.
A man, who woke up on a sidewalk after drinking at The Backstop, called police because his phone and wallet were missing. The man claimed he had been drugged. The man went to his car to get a copy of his passport and waited for The Backstop to open.
June 27, 1:19 p.m.
Police notified the National Park Service that bighorn sheep were getting too close to the road.
June 27, 7:19 p.m.
A woman called the police claiming that she could smell the strong scent of marijuana coming into her unit. She said she was worried she and her kids were being exposed.
June 27, 11:35 p.m.
A very drunk man notified police officers at the station that the bar at the Oasis Boutique Motel was serving too many drinks to patrons who did not need them. The man claimed that another man was drunk and being obnoxious at the bar. Police sent the person who made the complaint home.
